IWC Chronograph Release JU-OXYGEN

The Ju-52 is actually a tri- transportation plane it found both military and private support during 1940s and the 1930s. For 2 decades, you have carried the IWC logo of only nine airworthy classic JU-52s outstanding global and, while in the year 2000, started out over a circumnavigation of the world to promote a IWC View.

Today, in honor of the flight especially recognized to keep the vintage aircraft aloft, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Model “JU-AIR”, using a limited edition of 500 watches, is ready for takeoff.

With four Ju-52’s within their navy, JU-ATMOSPHERE, based in Located In Dübendorf near Zurich, is employed for sightseeing flights in Europe. Helping the flight for that prior twenty years, IWC has harvested a collaboration with JU-AIR based over a shared admiration of the Junkers Ju-52 airplane, among which proudly features the IWC logo.

The homage to the Junkers Ju-52 airplane is one of the point that is “Spitfire”. It’s there watch powered from the self-winding a 43 stainless steel pilot’s 89365 calibre with 68 hours of power-reserve. This mechanical motion developed solely in-house, includes a day screen, a purpose, a flyback chronograph, as well as little hacking moments. The watch comes on a dark alligator band using a stainless steel folding buckle.

The call of the watch is rhodium-coated to the silver shade of the Junkers Ju-52 plane in reference and includes a sunburst finish. The stainless steel case back has been etched with a Junkers Ju-52 and functions the wording “One out-of 500” in reference to parts for this edition’s number.
